Za’ba Traditional House
Teratak Za’ba is a historical site located in Batu Kikir, Jempol District, Negeri Sembilan. It was built as a tribute to the great scholar of Malay knowledge and language, Tan Sri Zainal Abidin bin Ahmad, better known as Za’ba—a distinguished intellectual, linguist, writer, and one of the most prominent Malay thinkers of the 20th century.
This site houses a replica of Za’ba’s original home, reconstructed in traditional Negeri Sembilan architectural style. It is complete with a collection of historical materials, artifacts, and documentation related to his immense contributions to knowledge, literature, and the development of national thought.
