Kwong Fook Kong Temple
Kwong Fook Kong Temple is 133 years old, built in 1892, making it one of the oldest temples in Titi. It has retained its original architecture and serves as an important place of worship for the local Chinese community, symbolizing the historical heritage of this small town.
Visitors are warmly welcomed by the temple caretakers while experiencing the peaceful atmosphere of the Hakka community, which continues to preserve its ancestral customs and traditions.
The uniqueness of this temple is highlighted through the use of ‘incense coils’ in religious ceremonies, as well as the preparations for Chinese New Year, symbolizing spiritual cleansing in Buddhist teachings.
In addition, mural paintings around the temple reflect the identity and uniqueness of Titi. They not only bring the temple to life but also serve as a photo attraction for visitors to capture memorable moments.
