Jamek Seremban Mosque
This mosque was rebuilt in the year 1900 on the site of the original wooden mosque and is among the oldest mosques in Negeri Sembilan. It has been recognized by the National Heritage Department as a ‘National Heritage’.
In the past, this mosque served as a gathering place for pilgrims preparing to journey to the Holy Land. According to historical records, the land for the mosque was endowed by Dato Bandar Haji Ahmad Ali and the family of Sheikh Abdul Kadir, who was said to be one of the prominent preachers at the time. The mosque is located on Jalan Tun Dr Ismail.
