Si Thian Kong Temple

Located in Selaru, Kuala Pilah, Si Thian Kong Temple is one of the prominent cultural tourism landmarks in Negeri Sembilan. Its unique architecture and dazzling decorative lights make it a popular destination, especially during Chinese New Year celebrations.

Each year, the temple is adorned with vibrant neon and LED lights, creating a festive atmosphere that energises the Chinese community in welcoming the celebration. Over 2,000 lanterns are hung around the temple grounds, further enhanced with tiger statues and various other symbolic decorations.

Interestingly, the entire decoration and design of the temple are the result of the initiative of the temple’s own members. According to the management, they did not hire any professional interior designers. Instead, all ideas and decoration work were carried out progressively through discussions among members. They are also currently in the process of constructing a new office building to facilitate administrative operations.
